We believe in transparency; you deserve to know how you impact your local community. This is why we post our annual financial reports. We want to keep you in the loop to show you how programs are funded, what we can do with our funding, and how you directly impact the lives in and around Licking County.
Roughly 90% of our budget is funded via federal grants, through organizations like Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Department of Justice (DOJ). This funding is often restricted to only being used for specific clients that fit into a program. This usually does not include development costs, the addition of furniture and other household needs, toiletries, staff salaries, and more.
The remainder of our income is provided by you. With unrestricted donations made by our community, we can provide assistance and necessities to those already in our programs and ultimately take steps toward preventing homelessness.
